JCC: BATTLE OF YARMOUK
Throughout the battles of the Byzantines against the Arabs there is one that stands out, one that changed the course of history. Near the Yarmouk river there lies a battlefield hidden by the passage of time. The battle of Yarmouk which happened in May 636 marked a turning point for the fate of both the Byzantine Empire and the Rashidun Caliphate. The fate of Syria will be determined in this battle and whether one side wins or loses blood will be spilled. Will the Christians prevail or will Khalid ibn al-Walid cement his legacy as one of the greatest strategic minds of all time.
